Voolii is an urban volleyball shop specializing in lifestyle apparel, accessories, and decor. They are pleased to be a solid pillar in the volleyball community around the world and are proud to employ some of top Volleyball athletes in the world.
Voolii’s old website didn’t reflect their hip brand or meet their changing needs as they reached out to new global communities. The design was boring and generic. The backend of the website wasn’t search engine-friendly. Additionally, the website was not user friendly and customers found it difficult to navigate. This was a major issue as Voolii runs a e-commerce site and it needed to be simple to use. When did they need a new website? Yesterday.
The Shift Digital team built a brand new Voolii website that was fully branded and represented the hip shop perfectly. While many sports websites feature stock photos that appear generic in nature, we chose authentic photos of Voolii staff doing what they do they best - playing Volleyball and wearing Voolii attire! Voolii is extremely proud of its employees and we wanted to showcase that to the world thereby personalizing their brand as well.
The new Voollii website is separated into proper categories and is easy for customers to navigate. Visitors have access to a wealth of information at their fingertips without having to dig too deep. We also created a series of sliders and ads that tell the visitor about related offerings and events. Finally, we added a search engine, e-commerce site, social media links and additional navigational controls.
The website redesign also enabled Voolii to add more useful site content. The new site describes Voolii’s products, services and events in greater detail, and the new e-commerce section help visitors decide which item is best for them and buying is simple. In addition, Voolii can now easily promote events and charities relating to the Volleyball industry.
The website redesign was met with a very positive response, immediately leading to higher web traffic and more sales. Search engine rankings went up and both Voolii employees and customers find the site easier to use.
